JENETTA KREGEL, CPA
FARM BUREAU INSURANCE AGENT • KREGEL AGENCY
When I was 26 years old, I was happily married to Ken, and raising two young daughters, ages 3 and 4. Life was full - busy days, plans for the future, and all the hopes and dreams that come with building a young family.
Like many parents, we were focused on creating a good life for our children. But we also took time to think about what would happen if life didn't go according to plan. After our daughters were born, Ken and I met with our insurance agent and made sure we had enough life insurance coverage in place, hoping we would never need it but wanting to be prepared if the unthinkable happened.
Â
And then it did.

Losing Ken was devastating. Nothing can prepare you for that kind of loss. But because we had planned, I had the financial stability to focus on my daughters, grieve, and eventually begin rebuilding our lives.
That life insurance policy did much more than pay bills. It gave us options. It gave us time. It gave us a future. It allowed me time to care for my girls…and myself.
That experience changed the course of my life.

When I was ready, I went back to school, earned my accounting degree, and became a CPA. Over the next 20 years, I built a career in corporate finance, working with organizations such as KPMG, Ally Financial, Sysco, and the City of Taylor. My job was helping businesses manage risk, protect assets, and create long-term financial stability.
I enjoyed that work, but over time I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my career helping people, not companies.
I now work directly with families, professionals, and business owners to help them protect what they're building and the people they care about most. That's what led me to Farm Bureau Insurance, and it's why I love what I do today.
My approach is different from simply providing a quote.
I take the time to understand your complete financial picture; your family, your income, your assets, your business, and your long-term goals. Together, we build a strategy designed to protect what matters most and help you move forward with confidence.
I also understand that insurance is just one piece of a much larger financial plan. Your wealth advisor, estate planning attorney, tax professional, and insurance specialist all play important roles, and decisions made in one area can impact another. That's why I believe these conversations should be coordinated, not siloed.
Whether you already have a team of trusted advisors or are just beginning to build your plan, I will help ensure your insurance strategy aligns with your broader financial goals—protecting what you've built today while helping create opportunities for tomorrow.
This work is personal to me because I've lived through the moment when insurance stopped being a policy and became a lifeline.
I know what it means to have the right coverage in place.

It’s devastating if you don’t.
Let's sit down, review your current situation, and make sure your plan is working for you today and prepared for whatever tomorrow may bring.
